๐๐ฆ๐ What an INCREDIBLE day weโve had celebrating Sir David Attenboroughโs 100th Birthday (Friday 8th May!) ๐๐๐ฟ
The whole school came together for a day packed with exciting, nature-inspired learning and WOWโฆ the costumes were AMAZING! ๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ
Throughout the day, children took part in lots of fun activities linked across the curriculum ๐โ๏ธ๐:
๐งช Science investigations about habitats and wildlife
๐ Nature-themed reading and writing activities
๐จ Creative artwork inspired by the natural world
โ Maths and geography linked to animals and conservation
๐โโ๏ธ Even our PE lessons were animal-themed with lots of wild movement and jungle energy! ๐๐ฆ๐
One of the most special parts of the day was planting seeds together for a new wild garden on the top field ๐ผ๐ฑ๐ธ.
This will help support bees ๐ and other wildlife, creating a beautiful space for nature to thrive for years to come ๐๐
A huge well done to all our children for their enthusiasm, creativity, and brilliant participation today, and thank you to families for helping with the fantastic outfits! ๐โจ
