Friends of Sandown

Friends of Sandown is the name of the Sandown Parent Teacher Association (PTA).

The group allows everyone in the school community to get involved: mums, dads, carers, grandparents, aunts and uncles. We have support from the teachers and the community.

Together we share the same goal - to make the school experience better for every child.

We arrange fun events for the children and raise funds for the school. With stretched school budgets our help is even more important.

We appreciate any time you can give to help.

Help needed!

URGENT - Are you free to help at the fireworks?
Without the support of teachers, parents, family & friends our events cannot take place. We need you!
Please email: Kellycorder.fos@gmail.com if you can help. We need people to help set up, tidy away and complete a field walk on Sunday 17th November.

Asda CASHPOT for schools

Thank you to everyone that has opted in for Sandown. Don’t forget for everyone that opts in the cash pot gets an extra £1.

You don’t have to shop at Asda or have children that go to Sandown for us to benefit. So far, we have raised £337.55 (as of 8^th October) - Keep scanning there is still 54 days to go.

The FOS “refreshment team”

The FOS “refreshment team” will be at all sporting events over the coming weeks by the cabin, providing tea, coffee, water, soft drink, crisps and chocolate bars.

If you know of any parents attending from other schools, please make them aware.

FOS will also have the preloved uniform available to purchase £1 per item. (Cash & Card payments accepted).

You can purchase tickets in the following ways:
⭐️ From the FOS team who will be in the playground over the coming week keep an eye on dojo for updates
⭐️ Through our Facebook event > Sandown Fireworks Spectacular just comment on the ticket post (PayPal & Bank Transfer accepted).
Tickets can be posted second class to your home address for an additional 85p or placed in your child’s book bag to bring home.

Wrap a Gift 2024

The elves are getting ready for the start of the festive season.

Wrap A Gift is an event that takes place during the school day between the 9th & 12th of December.

Children at school get the opportunity to purchase a maximum of two gifts (£3.50 per gift).

The elves help the children to wrap the gift and write a label, so it can be given to a loved one over the festive season.
